Fenton Lio is a singer-songwriter whose music is definitively indie rock, but layers the depth of a classical upbringing and the spontaneity of a jazz mind. He also possesses a uniquely beautiful voice that you will never forget.
Raised in Katonah, NY, Fenton honed his artistry at the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy before landing in Montreal, where he now studies Jazz Guitar Performance at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music.
Fenton’s original songs don’t follow any formula, lyrically or sonically. Though a student of music in every sense, Fenton writes songs that feel brand new to the world. He is a gentle soul and a ferocious performer.
He is currently based in New York and Montreal and is available for live performances.
